1968 Pontiac convertible that has been sitting inside a garage for the last 20 years. It was my uncles car until about 4 years ago when it was passed down to me. I parked it in my garage and never did anything with it. I know he had the big block engine rebuilt and installed it but never ran it. Still needs a few wires and hoses hooked up. In the mean time I took the interior apart because it needed a new carpet kit but it could use new door panels and rear panels. I believe the car is about 98% complete because I only threw away what could never be used again. The body used to be blue from the factory but my uncle wanted it red but since then it faded and will most likely need a paint job. The body is very straight and clean with the only rust that I have seen being in the bottom of the quarter panel on the drivers side. Its a small hole and should be taken care of soon but from what I have seen online on convertibles, this car is considered RUST FREE. This would be a great driver or a show car for someone into working on old cars. The car has power steering, power brakes and a lot of other options my uncle used to tell me about when he had it. I am no longer interested in owning this car so it's time to let it go. As far as complete, it's about 98% with only missing parts being 2 headlight, a few clips here and there, and some small replaceable interior trim pieces. The body is perfect and complete, the interior is complete but should be replaced. The car is much cleaner in person then the pictures show it to be. The floors and trunk do not have as much as a pin hole of rust. The underside is dirty but when you wipe it down the original blue paint shines. I know that I can wash this car and put headlights and grill on and get way more interest but thats for the new owner to do. I do have the GRILLS and almost ALL the parts.
