1974 HONDA CB550 CB 550 FOUR This bike has 2446 original miles. The bike has the original Bridgestone Super Speed tires on it. The original seat is in good condition with no tears or ripped seams. The tank and paint are original and in good condition. The tank does have one small spot on the right hand side near the end of the tank. There are no other dents. The luggage rack does have some rust on the underside of the rack. The mufflers are solid and not rusted out. The bike has been in storage for many years. I have put a new battery and four new carb kits in it. I rebuilt the front brake and master cylinder and put new brake hoses on it. The chrome has started showing its age. The chrome is not peeling but is no longer smooth to the touch and does have discoloration in some places. There is a dent in the rear section of the front fender. I have ridden the bike since doing the repairs and the bike runs smooth, idles properly and drives very good. Overall this vintage bike is in very condition, both cosmetically and mechanically and I would consider it Super Nice. Bike is currently listed in the local paper. We reserve the right to end the auction early only if we have received no bids on this listing. I have listed and described the motorcycle to the best of my knowledge. A $250 non-refundable deposit must be made to PayPal within 48 hours of auction ending. Balance must be paid in cash (U.S. funds only) or cashiers check (U.S. funds only). Bike will ship only when funds have cleared my bank. Since the State of Alabama does not require titles on motorcycles prior to 1975, this bike does not have a title. A notarized bill of sale and copy of current tag registration will be given upon full receipt of payment and once bike is delivered. We reserve the right to cancel any bids from a buyer with low feedback. Buyer is responsible for making all the shipping arrangments from Albertville, Al 39551. If you choose to ship with Forward Air, I can deliver to Huntsville, AL. Delivery will be an additional $150 and will include the necessary tie down straps and locks for the crate.
