You are bidding on an original survivor 1961 Ford Falcon Futura two-door hardtop. This Falcon has been meticulously maintained throughout its' entire life, and has a local owner history since new. The body is extremely straight with no rust anywhere... this car was babied and garaged, never driving more than 20 or so miles from home; Grandma's car. One repaint into the original Starlight Blue still shows and shines well, but is what I would call a "20-footer" driver's quality job. The engine and transmission were both rebuilt approximately 14,000 miles ago and the receipts are included. The clutch and brakes were both also done recently. The transmission is a 3-speed manual, and the engine is the original 6-cylinder, both numbers-matching to the vehicle. -Original rust-free body with correct repaint in driver's quality Starlight blue-Original numbers-matching 6-cylinder engine, rebuilt with receipts-Original numbers-matching 3-speed manual transmission and new clutch, rebuilt with receipts-Chrome trim, stainless steel trim, and glass are in great condition-Good tires on original steel wheels and factory hubcaps-Good brakes, tight steering-Original two-tone blue interior in good usable condition featuring rare bucket seats and center console; not perfect but perfectly usable-Gauges and electrical systems in working order This is an honest, straight car that can be enjoyed exactly as-is, restored, or be the basis for your retro Hotrod project.
