Vehicle Detail
For auction on ebay is my 1970 Dodge Charger. The car as you can see is a restoration project. However its a great start to a beautiful car one day. It is a factory 318 Car, and still has original drivetrain still in it. It will run with some effort but currently is not running/driving. Has motor, trans, driveline and 8 3/4 rear end all installed. Previous owner had started it occasionally but last ran 8 months ago. Needs a few things to try to start again. Maybe a weekend project to get her back started? The car was originally white paint, white top, green interior. Now in primer with some stripes that were painted on. The grille in the car is beautiful. Has good tail lights that go with the car. Overally the car is probably 90-95% complete. Looks to mostly all be here. Interior is bucket seats with a console automatic shifter. Mostly all there but needing restoration like the rest of the car. Has black steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps. All doors open and close great. Windows roll up and down fine. Bumpers are straight, front needs rechromed. Its a California car with minimal rust. It has alittle in the lower left bottom quarter. Very small patch needed or however you like to replace your sheetmetal. Right quarter is alittle worse but again , its down low and starting to break through. Its not all gone but I would atleast replace bottom 5 or 6 inches?? Rear window area in pretty good shape with only a small hole (less than a penny size) on one of the sails. Center trunk floor is there but does have some holes. Needs center trunk floor. Extensions are fine. All the rest of the floor pans are good with no rust outs. Frame rails are great , no issues there. Roof looks good and not rusted. All glass in good shape. Has some trim inside of car and in trunk. Overall its a great platform. Tough to find a Charger project these days that isnt all rusted out. This is a car you can build how you like it. Has original fender tag still attached. Its all numbers matching to those who care to keep it a 318 car. Have some family things come up so I need to sell the car. Please make sure you have all funds prior to bidding on my car. I will post a buy it now for those interested. I just purchased the car, and didnt expect to have to sell it so quickly, as I had planned to build it for myself. If the car is paid for , and arrangements are made, I could build this car for someone as well. I am posting my 70 Roadrunner on another auction and this car could be made to be as nice. Or you build it and enjoy it! Overseas bidders are welcome to bid. Buyer to pay NON refundable deposit of $500 within 48 hours of auctions end. This is non refundable and if you change your mind on buying my car , it will not be returned to you. This is a real auction and I'm asking for serious bidders only please. You can check my feedback, I am honest and give the best description of my car to make sure everyone is happy with the deal. Buyer to pay balance within 5 business days of end of auction, no exceptions. Please make sure you keep to this, so as to not forfeit your deposit. Car can be paid for with cash, bank check or bank wire transfer. Pickup of vehicle is fine but the car must be either paid for prior to picking up or bring cash. I will not take a check of any kind for the vehicle in person. My bank holds all checks and I want to make sure the car is paid for before leaving my hands. Out of state shipping or Out of country shipping is fine, but buyer to handle all arrangements. I can help with obtaining quotes and loading of car. Overall shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Inspections are welcomed for the car but must be done PRIOR to auctions end. No exceptions. You will have 5 days to view the car. Once auction is over and reserve is met, the car will be the high bidders. The car is sold as is, where is. There is no warranties expressed or written on the car as it is a restoration project that is 43 years old. The car is sold with a clean california title. I purchased this car two weeks ago, so it is still in previous owners name. I have bill of sale from him to me, and the title in my hands, so there are no issues. I just wanted to be upfront that it's not in my name as of yet. If this is a problem, once the car is paid for I can get title put in my name and you can wait 3 weeks for a new title issued in my name. Either way is fine by me. The car has never been in any accidents that I'm aware of. There are no refunds at all on car. Sale of vehicle is Final. I have accurately described the car to the best of my ability. One last note, the wheels in the trunk do not go with the car. They are for another project. Any questions, please email for immediate response. Thanks and Good luck!
