Vehicle Detail
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air This is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2Dr. Hard top. It has a 283 CID engine, 4 Barrell carb, and dual exhaust (Power Pack) Automatic transmission (2 speed power glide) Heater, Wipers, Radio, & Spinner Hubcaps It is Matador Red exterior, Red/Black cloth and vinyle interior. This Bel Air is a great driving and mechanically sound ride. This classic Chevy has a nice detailed engine bay, nice and clean interior, detailed trunk compartment, New chrome on front and rear bumpers, and grille center bar, the other bright work is nice but not as fresh. The glass is all good in condition, the paint was done about 4 years ago. It has a good gloss but was not done to a high show car quality. For a nice driver and cruise night car this is the car. The heater, wipers, radio, lights, horn, all work. The steering is tight, brakes work great, trans shifts very nice, no rattles and noises. The under carriage is driver quality as seen in the pictures. It appears to have the original trunk pan, floor pans look solid as well. The windows are manual and they work just fine. The doors shut good and easy. The car was originally a different color, cowl tag paint code 807D, interior is correct, trim code 676. This is a good and nice car, but not a 100 point show car, so the color change is for the guy who wants a red 57 Chevy hard top to cruise around in. You can't drive and enjoy a 100 point car with out it decreasing in value. This car will increase through the years if well maintained. It has a new heater control valve and heater control cables. The heat and defrost work well and I have new knobs coming for the heat control levers, there is one missing. All of the instrument gauges work and seem to be accurate. It is just a good all around solid car you can enjoy and drive. The mileage is exempt, sold as is - where is with no warranty. Please come take a look and take it for a spin.
