This car is a beautiful 1956 MGA in perfect condition. It is a recipient of a body-off restoration back in 2004 without regard for expense. It was purchased from auction in 2004 for $25,300, and 6k more was put into vehicle when purchased to suit the owners needs. At that time all of the bright work was restored original or OEM, as well as the top bows restored, and new top & tonneau fitted. The red exterior paint and tan interior are of excellent quality and the body panels fit very well. Nearly no rust on frame and rocker, underside is very clean, as is the engine. There is only 1646 miles on engine. This car also has a tan top and tonneau fitted, four speed manual trans, front-wheel disc brakes, rear-wheel drum brakes, and has a wheelbase of 85”. VIN# CA741141 / I could not find an engine number,sorry, but there was a patent# on the engine - 565394 Engine is a 80bhp 1500cc overhead inline valve four- cylinder. MG’s are a significant part of post-war sports car history and examples as fine as this one are not only a joy to own, but a worthy addition to any collection.
