1962 ford falcon 170 straight six with 2 speed auto. Car has lots of new parts put on it over the last two years: exhaust pipe, gas tank, fuel line, fuel filter, fuel pump, air filter, master cylinder, 4 wheel cylinders, rubber brake lines, water pump, hoses, thermostat, antifeeze, radiator boil out and sealed at walts radiator, tires with port-a-walls and headlight switch. I have installed an electric radiator fan with temp controller. Parts that i have but not installed, electric wipers, front brake shoes and dual bowl master cylinder. I also started collecting parts for a modern driveline 5 speed conversion. Parts include, bellhousing, manual pedal set and clutch linkage. Car has straight pipe exhaust but i still have the muffler. This car is fun to drive around town and get attention! However this car is NOT a highway car. With the 2 speed 55 - 60 is as fast as you want to go. After-all that was highway speeds in 1962. Front floor board are rusted through a little which is a common problem with these cars. Comes with some metal for repairing the floorboards. Motor runs great with no major leaks, dosen't smoke or use oil. Oil pressure at full temp is 22 idle 49 at speed. A compression test this past summer show a cold cranking compression of 140-146 across all six cylinders. I was told by the previous owner that the motor has been rebuilt. Trans shifts smooth, no slipping but dose leak a little around the pan gasket. Rear end needs pinion seal and axle seals. Car has salvage title. The car has been hit in the left rear quarter and has some bondo in it.(see picture) Also have 2 new 2600lb air bags, new sunpro tach, new lightning audio 950watt amp, amp kit, and tweeters that go with the car.
