Clutch action is smooth and the four speed manual transmission shifts with ease. Everything on the car works well and as it should, other than the fuel level gauge. Bought in the Summer from a collector who owned it for 8 years. The car was professionally updated with many parts including the engine/drivetrain/driveshaft/brakes/steering wheel from a 1991 MINI Cooper. Recently tuned-up by Jon's and Son Auto in Tallahassee, who said the vehicle was very solid. Please feel free to have your own mechanic check it out. Starts first time and could be driven anywhere.
