What a piece of Hot Rod racing History here!! Up for grabs is a 1935 Ford Coupe that was driven by one of the best, number (97) Olen Waner, back in 1946-1950 at Meridian Speed Way in Idaho. The Car has been in the hand of one of my good friends Cliff Barrett who passed away in July of this year. Cliff restored this car, back to what it was in 1946-1950. A little history about the advertising on the car. Mason Motors, it was a Buick dealer ship in Caldwell Idaho. Olen and a group of guys worked at Mason Motors. They pitched in money and their time on this 1935 Ford coupe, which led Olen to alot of wins. For the past 3 years Cliff spent time restoring this 1935 Ford coupe. The body and frame where media blasted and primed. The frame was painted black and the body was painted back to Blue and Orange. The flat head was gone through and runs strong. Tires are almost new. Has Idaho Title. This is a push button and drive. I have had alot of fun with this car driving it around, and so will anyone else. I have posted many pictures of the car. The pictures with the young driver is, Olen in his early 20. The picture with the old guy standing next to the coupe is Olen. On June 30,2012 Meridian speed way dedicated a race for Olen Waner. Where Olen was able to race the car around the track at Meridian speed way. The car is located in Caldwell Idaho 20 mile out side of Boise. The car will be stored inside, so if you can't get the car right way it will be fine. Im easy to work with, so if you have a problem with picking the car up I will NOT charge storage fees.
