Vehicle Detail
1976 Jeep Wagoneer Hello and thanks for viewing my auction. What you see before you is my pride and joy. This is what I consider to be a fantastic example of everything a vintage classic Wagoneer should be. The jeep is very clean. It is a RUST FREE Washington State vehicle. All the floors are 100% solid and the undercarriage looks excellent. It has the wood grain siding. The interior is perfect and new but still done with the vintage hound’s-tooth wool inserts. The jeep has the locking differentials that are rare, but also essential for serious off road situations. The jeep is reliable, safe and beautiful too. The engine starts easily and runs strong. It does not smoke or leak much oil. I noticed a dime sized drip after a month of storage. It requires a 3-5 minute warm up depending on outdoor temperature to attain its operating temp. It never runs hot or overheats. The transmission shifts smoothly and never slips. All of the 4 wheel drive components work as they should and have been serviced properly. The Jeep does not pull or wander on the road and the power brakes stop easily and evenly keeping a straight track. The 31’’ BFG All Terrain tires and 2’’ Lift complete a perfect balance between ordinary and offensive that allows everyone to enjoy the usefulness of this Wagoneer. The heat/defroster/fan all work well as do the wipers and all the windows including the hand crank rear window. The gas gage works intermittently. All the other gages work as they should. All the lights and blinkers work including the dome light. Mechanically, this jeep is a good as they get. The paint is mostly original; it shines well and looks great on the vehicle. There are a few scratches here and there and some thin spots on the sharp edges from the years, but as I hope the pictures show, it is in excellent condition for its age. The wood grain is new and was done with care using a high grade product. All the chrome is present and is straight and secure. The interior is all new including the carpeting and headliner. It still smells like a new car inside. There is not a mark or stain anyplace. The wood steering wheel is also new. I hope that my pictures and description can help complete the feel of this Jeep to those bidders that won’t be able to see the vehicle in person but if you have questions feel free to call me. I require a $1500 paypal deposit 24 hours after auction end with the balance to be paid for inside of a week. I reserve the right to end the auction early for a cash offer.
