Thanks for looking! On Dec-18-12 at 16:12:42 PST, seller added the following information: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE UPDATED DESCRIPITION Thanks to everyone who has shown interest in the Power Wagon!!! Because of that interest, I have decided to give a more detailed description of the vehicle to better help those who are interested in purchasing the truck. Below is a list of minor repairs that I would make if I were keeping the truck and also repairs I have already done. I realize that everyone has different preferences, so please keep that in mind. Gauges, clock, and dome light do not work. The amp and temp gauges were working till recently when I had some alternator issues. The truck has a new H.D. alternator and battery. The problem was a wiring issue in the engine compartment (which has been repaired) and was not the alternator. I believe most of the gauge problems are either wiring or sending units. The dash lights, turn signal indicator lights, cargo light, high beam switch (new) and indicator light still work along with the speedometer and heater/ac control. After-market radio does not work. The engine, transmission and transfer case all work well, but the engine does have either a little lifter noise or a slight exhaust manifold leak. Last December we took a 400 mile trip with the truck and had 10,000 to 12,000 lbs in tow with no problems. The Mickey Thompson valve covers leak, so I need to occasionally add oil. I recently changed to a set of Ford alloy wheels with 235/85/16 tires. Since Ford uses larger diameter and longer wheel studs, I would strongly suggest longer wheel studs on both axles before hauling, towing or taking the truck off-road (there is about 1/2 to 3/4 total nut length of thread engagement). The 235/85/16 tires are taller than stock, so the left front tire tread hits the steering when you turn hard to the right. A 1.5" inch front helper springs should take care of that issue. Truck steering is very tight as we had front axle work done before taking the trip last year. I have had several Power Wagons in the past and this one by far handles the best! Truck has new rear brakes and brake wheel cylinders. Windows need new crank gears. Front gas tank leaks a little when filled up and rear tank will not switch over. If you need more pictures of the truck, or have specific questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks!
