It is a well above average driver and is completely ready for action. This well-maintained Bus features a walk-through cab with original, uncut dash. It includes the fixed windshields and the safari windows with seals if you should choose to swap them out. The putty paint was resprayed here in Bend, Oregon about two years ago and is holding up very well. The cargo rack is solid and will hold your gear. Electrical system updated to 12-volt. Interior is in excellent condition from the near pristine wood paneling and curtains to the upholstery. The original ice box is still in working order, with just enough patina to let you know it's been somewhere. The middle seat folds out to make a bed and all the storage cabinets are in perfect condition. The original tent frame and panels are in near perfect condition. You may want to have some new panels made so that these retain their almost-new quality. The engine has been updated to a 1,776 cc, twin-carb configuration and has about 35,000 miles since its rebuild. It is very tight and leaks no oil. The transmission is also very tight with no slop going into any gear. This bus will cruise at 70 all day long and will not hold up traffic going up hills, according to the previous owner. This is a fantastic value. It's a wonderful color and is ready to make some wonderful memories.
