FOR PARTS Many Recent Parts Excellent Engine & Trans 1993 Oldsmobile Regency base Driver's side power seat, steering, brakes, side view mirrors, cruise, tilt, radio works (not sure about the cassette, never tried it) & is original Gas lifts on hood hold it up All of these options are working. The climate control doesn't put out enough current to turn on A/C but there is a by pass switch installed and the A/C blows COLD. The climate control still functions in all of the modes but A/C. It signals that A|C compressor is running but in fact it doesn't throw enough juice to it. I installed a switch to give it direct 12v and the clutch kicks right in and it will freeze you out. A new climate control is $300 and used ones are pretty much in the same shape as this one. Only history I have on the car is it was purchased new by an older lady. She had it until she died and left it to the kidney foundation. I acquired this in Jan of 2010 with 46k. Drove it from Rochester, NY to Memphis, TN without incident. The car rides very well and the mileage is superb for a vehicle this size. I would average over 20mpg combined driving and it gets approx 25-26mpg on the highway at speeds of 70+, I don't believe this car ever left Rochester, NY until I purchased it. I doubt if it was ever garage kept though. Many new parts: A/C condenser, Compressor, Drier, Blower Motor White Sidewall tires w/less than 8,000 miles Factory "lace" alloys in decent shape Engine wires & plugs 5/12 New oil pan Front Brakes: New Calipers, Discs, & pads Rear Brakes: New drums, shoes, lines New Starter 1/12 Glass: NO cracks, chips or fogged Engine & Transmission have under 62K original mileage. Not working: Power Antenna, 1 rear window works when it wants to. Body panels, hood, trunk lid, fenders, doors in very good condition, paint still shines Interior is Immaculate, NO RIPS/Tears anywhere. Headliner will need replacement one of these days, has been reglued. THE BAD: THIS CAR HAS A RUSTED OUT FRAME. ONLY ONE OWNER WHEN I PURCHASED IT, NO ACCIDENTS. CAR HAS TO BE TRAILERED TO NEW LOCATION, CANNOT BE DRIVEN IN PRESENT CONDITION. BEING SOLD AS IS. NO WARRANTIES Engine with this low mileage and transmission with this low mileage are hard to find. The 3800 is Bullet Proof and a proven GM engine. You may be able to pick up one at a junk yard cheaper, but you'll never know the history or the mileage. If you have a car that can use this car's engine & transmission this should go perhaps another 100k. I've seen newer cars with this engine with 200k on them already. Asking: $1000 OR Best Offer!
