I'm auctioning my 1976 Dodge factory 440 4x4 automatic Adventurer Sport. The truck has 52,000 original miles. The interior is in excellent condition. No cracks in the dash or glove box door. Seat upholstry looks new along with very nice carpet. Sunroof looks factory, however I believe it was added. It works great and does not leak. Roof is in perfect condition, zero rust along the drip rail which is usually present on these trucks. Body is very straight with no dents. The only rust spot I found is on the bottom corner of the drivers door about the size of a bb (1/8"). The paint is the original color that was repainted about 10 years ago and is showing it's age. I got the truck non-running and have since added an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley Street Avenger 770 electric choke carb., new distributor. The truck is now running and will come with it's original top end (intake and carb). I have only driven the truck around my property so it will need to be gone through to check it's road worthyness. I would think a couple hours just going through fluids and some tuning along with valve cover gaskets would do it. Tires aren't good, they hold air but would need to be replaced. The wheels are excellent and really make the truck. The truck will also come with a correct chrome rear sport bumper which I tracked down if it makes the reserve. I was planning on restoring this rare big block 4x4 shortbed for myself, however my prized Barracuda was stolen and recovered so now I need to focus on getting that back together. Remember this truck is 99% rust free which is very rare in itself for these trucks, that was part of the appeal when I bought it. I'm not sure how much smog equipment is required or not for this year so that will be the buyers responsibility. I am able to store the truck with full payment of course until pick up can be arranged.
