Vehicle Detail

Great find!! One owner pickup truck from dry, dry west Nebraska. Sold to me years ago, and we just recently drug it out of the barn. This is the soundest little bump side we have been around in years. SOLID pickup. Under hood is original. Truck does not have and has not had rust issues. His Dad owned the farm, so title shows a transfer from him to Marv.(Just so it's not a surprise when you get the title) You will get that Feb. 1967 transfered title from Dodson Motors. I knew the owner my entire life, and he treasured his new pickup. Picked it up on a Holiday trip to visit family in Michigan and drove it back here to western Nebraska. Pickup was sitting in a barn for the last 15 years. They pushed it in because it wasn't running. We found a bad condenser while we were doing the major tune. Overhauled the carb, new plugs, fuel filter, etc. and it runs great. Still needs a muffler. Single glass pack is blown out. Sounds mean. I took it up to MAACO for him around 1991 and had a quickee paint job over the original paint and the original dents. Has never had body work, but could use some(much easier than rust, though). I threw some later wheels and good tires on I had taken off another old Ford. It drives, shifts good. 75 is an easy cruise with the overdrive. We have driven it enough to know it sometimes pops out of first. Assume linkage adjustment, but want you to know that is how you get it. We added power brakes with a fresh master cylinder. They stay up and work good. No power steering. It is a Custom Cab pickup. Seat is original. AM radio works. Gas Gauge doesn't. He had removed the heater because it leaked and he didn't drive the pickup in winter. Hope to pick up one at U Pull It before end of auction. We will add a note if that happens. Miles are over. Marv was a bit of a mechanic and the old friends thought he had given this a minor overhaul at around 100,000 miles. Like I say; runs great with no smoke. Needs shocks to become your daily driver. This is a fun ride, just in time for Christmas. Starting at $500 with no-reserve. Have fun. As for us: We are Dodson Motors, Inc. at 219 N. Pennsylvania Ave., PO Box 206, in Venango, Nebraska 69168.
