I have a 1992 Miata base convert for sell. It needs work to be great. Car runs but transmission pushing fluid out of vent tube. I cleaned valve body filter and fluid but same thing going on. Believe its the pump seal. I don't rebuild transmissions so selling it. Needs new top and has two spots on windshield arms with little rust. the car is a Florida car with no other rust anywhere on it but those spots. Last records in the car was in 03 with tires and some small stuff done. Mileage showed 135000 at that time. car sat for many years after. Tires in front date code from 02 and still look new so car sat for a while. belt for A/C and power steering missing as well. A/C still charged and tries to engage and turns fans on. No apparent leaks except trans fluid from vent. someone change gage cluster so now shows around 106k. Great project car for someone more into it than myself. Can make car drive in all gears manual but not start out in drive. Beleive all due to losing pressure from pump. there was no metal in pan when I serviced it.
