Vehicle Detail

This is a project for someone---but what a finished end result it could be. This started out as a 4 dr., but as you can see it was made into a convertable. Has had extensive body work to it in the past. Unfortunately this car has been sitting for some time due to really poor health of the elderly man working on it. He had lots of dreams but never lived to see them finished. It was rescued from a lean too and given a good scrub as it was pretty grungy from sitting. The windshield has a chop with glass windows. Doors had electric locks started on them. Floor has had some sheetmetal work done and is not bad (no gaping holes.) The trunk has a bunch of parts, but you may have to find a few for finishing. The big thing is the body filler used in modifying has begun to fail in several places. What may look like holes on the side or elswhere is really where some of the paint is falling off and filler peeling away. This would need some work removing and redoing portions of the body filler, but again, most of the custom work is done. The rear end is a 9" ford and the front end is a Camero sub frame. Steering wheel is shot from the weather. Tires were new at one time but are not quite new now. It is movable without any problem. It does not run so shipping might be a problem. No engine or trans or drive shaft. Being a Camero sub frame, it would take either a small or big block Chev. engine w/o problem. The bottom of the front fenders had notches in the bottom for lake or side pipes which are in the trunk. Again, this would take some work but I think it would be well worth the effort for what you would end up with. There is no clear title but does come with a bill of sale stating it was traded, so tax would not be charged. There are a pair of burgandy bucket seats from an Olds Achiva along with the center console with shifting assembly and a bench seat from a chev or gmc van that is burgandy that would require the base supports cut to have the correct height. Starting at a low price with no reserve. Thanks for the peep.
