The car was purchased here in Chicago on February 1976 and has been in my family since. After his passing we turned the car into an official Classic through the Chicago Classic Automobile Association and started showing the car at Antique car shows. The license plates are still on the car. We replaced all the original wires from 1976 with new ones in 2004. All the power windows and power locks are fully functional. The car is in pristine shape with all original parts except the wiring. The car runs and drives magnificently. Its maintenance has been kept up on a regular basis since its purchase. Every time we take it out of the garage to drive it people stop and take in the beauty of Americas last masterpiece of engineering. This model sold only 3,000 units in 1976 and was the last body style of its kind to be introduced by Chevrolet. Unlike the years before and the years after this car is the longest and most specious that they have ever produced. Due to the 1973 Arab Oil Embargo this car is also one of the most gas efficient Classics out there. The car comes with the original owners manual as well as the original manufacturers warranty card which details the exact date of its purchase.
