Hello,for your consideration this listing is for a Classic 1972 Chevrolet C10 Pickup.It may look like your father's or grandfather's pickup but it has a surprize under the hood.The engine is built 454 that was bored 0.30 over to 468c.i ,the crank was done,the heads were machined with new valves ,extra heavy valve springs etc so it would run on pump gas with 9:1 compression. ThumperComp cam kit ,new holey carb,Edelbrock Performer 2.0 manifold,water pump,gear reduction starter,aluminum radiator, etc. The engine builder rated it from 450 to 500 horse power. It has a automatic tranny,which has been rebuilt and a 12 bolt rear end .The truck came from Virginia Beach ,VA " I have the title" .and has been garage kept and summer used in Maine for the last 5 years. The truck had some minor rust in the usual places so it was taken apart to the frame,most every thing striped to bare metal, all rust repaired with new fenders,cab corners,door skins etc.then primed with epoxy primer,then urethane primer before paint.If you look at the pics you will see most every part on this truck including underside,frame etc. has been painted so it should be good for years.The rear tires are 50's with less than 500 miles on them.The truck runs good,goes good handles good,stops good etc and is a blast to drive.The engine is very healthy and sounds great at an idle with the cam,and sounds great cruizing with brand new headers,and brand new stainless steel dual exhaust with low restriction mufflers.It is a definate "Head turner" "attention getter" The paint has some minor flaws,couple minor dents, not a show quality truck but great for driver,cruise in etc.The bed has some minor pinholes but I wanted to retain as many original parts as possible.The inside of the bed is sprayed with ureathane bed liner.The tailgate still works great after 40 years. The odometer shows 15,065 so I assume its been over, true mileage is unknownI have pre-cut tint for the windows I have not had installed,I will include with the truck if buyer wants it. I have the Virginia title from previous owner and will come with the truck I know it is hard to buy a vehicle on the net that you have not seen in person,I have sold many classic cars on ebay including corvettes,a camaro show car etc, with no negative feed back so please do not include me with the "bad apples" out there that sell bad vehicles on the net.You or a hired person of your choice is free to inspect this truck at any time during this sale before the listing ends.If you have questions,want more pics etc. just ask.
