Vehicle Detail
Up for your consideration is a 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. This vehicle has been in our possession since 2007 and has always run like a top. We replaced a fuel pump back in 2009, otherwise we've had no mechanical difficulties. The car has had regular oil changes and has been maintained. It has a brand new VA state inspection sticker, front tires are new. Air conditioning does not work. Passenger back window needs motor? Convertible top motor may need replacing soon as well. Heat works fine. This vehicle does not burn/leak oil. Starts right up and runs with no issues. Cruise control works perfectly. The body and top do need work. We replaced the back window in 2007, but the top is now in need of repair/replacement. It will leak a bit at the window when it rains. We do drive it in the rain - the leakage is minimal, but we park it in our garage to safeguard the car. A deer ran into (yes, IT hit US!) the moving vehicle in 2008, we replaced the front driver's side fender. The hood needs minor cosmetic work due to the accident. There is a small silver-dollar sized spot that has a little rust due to missing paint from the same accident. At this point that is completely fixable. This car has never been left open in the rain. We've been very vigilant in that area. The car has been my own vehicle for these years. I am a stay-at-home-mom in a rural area. I use it to shop and carry the family to run errands 2-3x a week. Literally. It hasn't been driven every day as a go-to-work vehicle, although would be dependable as such. My husband is willing to meet the buyer within a 250 mile radius of Bedford, VA after payment has been received and has cleared. He does not want to go inside the DC beltway or other congested areas. We are selling because I have taken a rural postal position and needed to purchase my own right-hand vehicle for the job, so I'm reluctantly selling my beloved Sebring. Thanks for looking!
