No liens associated with the truck. A lot of states have different requirements regarding titles and vehicle age. This truck will be sold with current registration showing proof of ownership, bill of sale, and the title transfer of ownership form filled out and signed by me " the seller." The new title will be printed in your name by your DMV and will arrive to you after you register the vehicle in your state. Because I have just recently registered the truck, the Connecticut DMV is still reprinting the "original" title. The original title copy will not be supplied as the title transfer of ownership form will take its place. For those of you that are not familiar with the transfer of ownership document, it is simply a page that contains all the information that is on the back of a vehicle title. Both parties sign this page as you would normally sign a title page.In most states, taxes are paid on book value, not what we write on a bill of sale, although I will leave that for you to fill in.
