Vehicle Detail
Too many projects force sale of this un-restored Dream CA77 305. All original, except gas tank has been re-sealed with silver POR-15. Bike has age patina and few dings here and there expected of 40+ year old bike. Engine turns over and has good compression. All gears click through easiy. Neutral gear is easy to find. Left side muffler is wrong type and is rusted at bottom. I am not sure what type it is but it does not fit on this bike as the bracket on the muffler does not line up with the bolting locations. The right muffler is in good condition with one ding, no rust at bottom. Front brake works but rear brake does not grab when depressed. The bike must have been stored inside all of its life as overall it has very little surface rust and chrome pitting. Front tire is cracked. Rear tire looks good but it must still be 30+ year old. The carburetor is clean but I don't think I have re-built it. The petcock was removed for cleaning and was not installed back. It will be included with the bike. The tail light housing is cracked. I am including a used tail light housing of same make and model. Looks like signal lights were at one time installed on both sides of headlight bucket housing as there are holes drilled (can be seen on pics). I have bought an original used black headlight bucket in great shape and it will be included in the sale. I have the original title from the State of Illinois dated 9/22/1969, signed by the owner. The purchase name on title was left blank. I will release the title as-is with a Bill of Sale. The bike is being sold with no warranty and as-is and must be picked where-is at my residence address. I can store the bike up to 30 days from end of bid. A deposit of $300 paid via PAYPAL is required within 48 hours from end of bid. Balance is to be paid by wiring, cashier check or money order within seven (7) days from end of bid. I will not release the title or the bike until my bank confirms money from wiring or from cashier check or money order is in my bank account. Thank you for bidding. I hope someone will bring it out of the basement and bring it back to life so it can continue its glorious days on the road.
