Rebuilt, Rebuildable & Reconstructed

This is a beautiful super nice bug eyed sprite that was fully restored a few years ago. It has been lovingly cared for during the past 20 years by a knowledgeable enthusiast. It was fully dissembled & repainted inside and out. the paint is still very nice with a great shine with only a couple of minor chips from driving that have been touched up. The chrome grill 7 bumpers were rechromed & are super nice. The cockpit trim rails were polished. The hupcaps are in excellent condition. the ar was totally rebuilt during the restoration & the front And rear brakes have recently been redone. The engines an original 948cc unit & it runs strong with a lot of power. It has good oil pressure & does not smoke. Has a slight oil drip from the engine... just to prove its a true british sports car. Carburetors have been rebuilt & balanced the car starts right up & quickly goes to a smooth idle. The transmission is still the original style 4 speed with a nonsynchro first gear. steering is quick and easy. The tires are very good. The dashboard is original & are in working condition, with the exception of a recalcitrant speedometer (fluctuates). The tachometer will require a connection cable adapter at the generator ( never been bothered by the non working tach, listening to the rev of the engine. The interior paneling has been completely redone during the restoration & shows only slight wear. the convertable top and tonneau are in excellent condition. The side curtains have new plexiglass 7 the weather stripping is in very good shape. All in all a nice driving car that was fully restored a few years ago & driven & enjoyed since & still looks great, The bug eye is an impressive little car with great comfort for their size & the huge fun factor of driving a short wheelbase car. Until very recently has been parked in a heated garage. This car belonged to my husband, he bought it recently but has since died, he never even got a chance to sit in it. The only information i have on it is written in the description by the previous owner. Car is sold as is where it is in Greer South Carolina with no warranty or guaranty.
