Up for a no reserve auction is this beautiful 2003 Dodge Durango SLT Plus sport utility. It is powered by a 4.7 V-8, 235 HP engine, has a factory am/fm cassette CD player, Tow Package, Lots of Storage, Dual A/C Rear Control, Tinted Windows, Good Tires, Roof Rack, new A/C compressor, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Non-smoker, leather Seats like new, clean car fax, never any accidents and only 2 previous owners. Clean NJ Title in hand, The paint shines bright and the body is in excellent condition Very clean interior. The truck runs great but has a slight engine miss and a lifter noise. The noise is coming from the right side of the engine. It is Very prominent from the passenger fender well. It sounds as if it is coming from just below the right head. We used a stethoscope and listened to it and everything is quiet except from the right head. Sounds like a loose rocker arm or a bad lifter. Nowhere else in the engine do you hear anything with the stethoscope. The transmission shifts smooth, the four wheel drive works and everything else in the truck works, there is good oil pressure and the temperature gauge stays below the half way mark. I have driven the Durango over 50 miles with no problems, and have had it running at idle for over 3 hours, it doesn’t overheat and there are no warning lights on. We are selling the Durango “as is” and we will not fix the lifter noise or engine miss. This will be a great opportunity for someone with mechanical skills to own a beautiful Durango at a fraction of its retail book value!
