Hello, I am selling my classic 1967 Mercedes 250 SE coupe. I like to buy, drive and sell collectable cars as I find them and I bought this neat car a little while ago and have put about 500 trouble free miles on her but I am now on to the next cool car and she is on Ebay looking for a new person to love and enjoy her. This is obviously a euro car and I was told it was originally delivered to Italy the shiped to the US via a military person.n The mileage is 61934 kilometers. The body on the car is decent overall. Lousy bodywork behind driver side rear wheel but overall very solid . The glass is good and all windows work. Chrome is old and a little faded but useable as is and nothing missing. Good tires and non-original aluminum wheels. Inside is decent headliner with 1 small tear the size of a penny in rear, decent wood that could be re-done, all guages work as does the clock (although a little slow),carpet is kaput and the heater is great. I went for a ride today in 34 degree weather and was warm as toast. The wipers are the only mechanical thing not working as of today. Motor starts right up, idles great and motors right along. 4 speed tranny shifts good ( I was told it has a new clutch....) and brakes are very good with no problems. Car runs with great oil pressure, perfect temp and no mechanical noises out of the ordinary. Exaust is all new. Trunk floor has been fiberglassed on far left side but otherwise good. floor is 90 percent good with the major issue the pan at the driver floor which has been fiberglassed. The rest of the underside is decent with good metal at the mount points. I drive this car for fun and get comments everywhere !! People really love this car. If you want a perfect car look elsewhere please. This car is a driver and a cool way to get around but it is far from perfect. Maybe a good place to start a restoration but I like her as is. The coupes and convertibles of this series are just beautiful cars. I really believe in 10 years these will be high dollar cars but she is what she is and while I hate to sell I am off to new horizons. Any questions please email me.
