You are purchasing a 1965 Ford Mustang coupe. It has the rare K engine code in the VIN, K=289 HiPo 271HP. Only 7273 K code Mustangs were produced in the 1965 model year run including coupes, convertibles, and fastbacks, about 1% of total produced, take away the convertibles, fastbacks, and GT's and you will begin conceive how rare this K code Mustang coupe is. Another rarity of this Mustang is the fact that is a standard coupe with quarter panel ornaments, not a GT. One of these sold at no reserve at the 2011 B-J Scottsdale Auction for $55,000. Invest in a Mustang that will surely appreciate. This Mustang has had a rough life and is in very poor condition. As you can see from the pics it is stripped. Has alot of rust and bodywork that needs repaired or body panels replaced. No interior. Needs a full restoration. There is no engine or trans, it originally was equipped with the rare 289 HiPo 271HP engine and 4 speed trans, but has none of that. It has a rear end from 6 cylinder Mustang so that it will roll, and V-8 front spindles. Straight and solid frame rails, see pics, has a little deterioration in rear rails around the drain and jig mounting holes. Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs.
