Vehicle Detail

Reserve lowered to "Rock Bottom". Car re-listed due to previous winner's sudden personal hardship. Been there, So........one more time: Up for sale is a very rare color combo 1979 Trans Am. Originally Nocturne Blue, this awesome car was professionally repainted Dark Navy Blue with metal flake about 5 years ago. The interior is Oyster White with Light Blue dash and console. The carpet is dark blue. I'm told this is the color combo that the 1979 T/A was introduced in at the Detroit auto show. Don't know that to be fact, just know that you do not find many in this combo. Car originally came with gold snowflake, but now wares rally wheels. I am the second owner of this car. Title shows actual milage of 50,602 when I bought it in 1999. I used this car as my daily driver for several years before retiring her to a weekend cruiser. Yes I have put 84,000 miles on this car the last 13 years. Love these cars! Car has always been serviced properly over the years. Does not burn oil, runs and shifts strong. Motor has not been removed or rebuilt. Car has panel gaps as it did when it rolled off the show room floor. This car feels and handles as my first T/A did when I graduated HS in 1980. Glass and seals are great with no leaks. Car has a custom exhaust with glass pack mufflers. Provides great ground clearance. I had the rear leaf springs replaced, upgrading to 4 bands instead of the original 3 bands these cars came with. Car has a great stance with no sagging rear. All gauges work, including the clock. Speedo bounces a little. Car has one crack in the dash and interior rear sail panels should be replaced. Seat backs starting to show age but still present well. No rust on car. Head liner is complete and intact. Console lid opens and closes as it should. Wipers work. Radio works, but speakers in door should be replaced. Visors stay up and do not fall while cruising down the highway. Carb is fairly new. Wheel bearings have been repacked and new calipers and master break cylinder. Alternator and water pump have been replaced. Timing replaced. Window motors replaced. Vent motor replaced. All A/C parts are there, but I have not recharged in several years - may need some work - may not. Car is very solid with no annoying rattles. Car is sold as is and is listed locally for sale. May be removed without notice from e-bay. $500 deposit required within 3 days of winning, balance in full within 7 days. Winner responsible for all transport. Feel free to ask any questions you have. Thanks for your interest, and good luck.
