You are bidding on a 2003 Lincoln Town Car Cartier L. LOW RESERVE!! I bought this car as my personal driver in September of 2011. It was originally a Dallas Texas car and was used by a family trust to drive around a personal family. It has not been used as a service car. I am absolutley fanatical about my cars so after purchasing it I did everything possible to make the car perfect. The following is what i did to the car in the first few months of ownership just to make sure everything was in tip top shape: New brakes (needed them)new shocks (almost needed them)new michelin tires (i just like new tires on cars i buy)new rear air bags for suspension brand new Ford OEM bags (the bags were working but sitting for a few days they would sag)8 new coils (suggestion from mechanic)new plugs (part of tune up)new mass air flow sensor (part of tune up)new idle air control valve (suggestion of mechanic)recent oil changerecent transmission fluid change new a/c compressor (this was done just 3 months ago)new auto close trunk motor (old motor did not work right)new backup sensor controller (old one did not work right)new fuel filter (part of tune up)new battery (felt better with a new one)new radio with bluetooth and speakers (old customer installed one looked terrible)new power drivers side door switch (old one quit working 6 months in)new drivers door hinge (old one would not hold door open)new front and rear brake rotors (when i did brakes)new EGR valve (suggestion of mechanic)new front sway bar bushings (old ones worn out)alignment (after new tires) There are 2 things that i would like to point out on the car and are the only 2 things i can find wrong. In the long wheelbase Town Car backseat there are 2 lighted mirrors in the ceiling that fold down. the one on the left is missing. I checked with the dealer and it is $119.00 and it pops right in. The second thing pertains to the 'easy-out' seat feature on the drivers seat. I got sick of the seat going back and forward each time you get out and get in. It will eventually ruin the motor and the seat seems to never return to the right spot. I checked with the dealer and there is no way to disable this feature so my solution is to pull the plug in the back of the seat underneath. Pulling this plug just disables the seat motors. The seat airbag, the seat heaters and the seat power lumbar still work. if i feel the need to move the seat i just plug in the wire, move the seat and unplug it. You could leave it plugged in, but i promise it will annoy you. I believe that this car has every feature that the Town Car offered except the sunroof! This car is in fantastic shape and has only the 2 problems that i mentioned. Besides that there is zero rust and it runs perfect.
