Great find!! One family owned 1946 Dodge truck with dump bed. Always shedded and cared for. Came off of retirement sale off of the son who watched dad proudly drive his new truck in the yard. Truck has recently had new battery, fuel pump, brakes, seat, floor mat, and interior package. It also had some small dents in fenders and back of cab repaired and repainted. Rest of paint is original 1946, as are 66 years of dings, scratches, and patina. Truck does not have and has never had any rust! I have put 100+ miles on this in the last week and it gets the talk where ever it goes. It drives, runs, shifts, stops, starts as a good old truck should. Hoist works fine. Gauges and lights work. Turn signals work. Speedometer is not working. It is showing 34,000 and that is probably within 1,000 miles of total. Heater works but truck only warms up to 130-140, so you need to replace the thermostat for winter truckin'. Includes tire change tools, crank, large service manual, and the wipers I removed for machine buffing(still needs a hand polish). I also removed the visor as it doesn't stay up. Right windshield is cracked. Rest of glass is good. Right hand emblem is cracked. I might have one on my parts truck. If I do it will be included. I also have the bolt for the center grille. The center grille is stainless and needs straightened. Hood ornament is great. This is a great old truck. Has some of the leaks old trucks have, but nothing major. Likes to cruise 40-45(speedview on my phone) and acts like it will all day. This is a fun ride, just in time for Christmas. Starting reasonable with no-reserve. Have fun.
