I'm relisting my 1976 Mercury Capri II due to non-paying bidder. I purchased this car about 2 years ago from the previous owner in Colorado. The engine runs pretty well and does not smoke. It will however probably need a tune-up. All the parts in the engine bay appear to be there so it is complete. The 4-speed transmission shifts very smoothly and feels very tight for its age. The brakes work but the car with need new tires. For the age of this car, it has minimal rust. I pulled the carpets out to show the floor boards. They are excellent with the exception of the driver side which only had some surface rust. I cleaned and primed it but you can see it’s solid. The doors are fairly good had have minimal rust as with the rest of the car. The rear hatch is not in the best condition and will need more extensive attention. The original bumpers are also in good condition with no cracks. The interior is over all in good shape but will need new door and window seals. The carpet is fair but will need dyed as it is heavily faded. The seats are in pretty good shape and area complete. I have a brown dash and accompanying front panels that will come with the car to match the interior in addition to the black dash mounted in the car. This car can be driven to test only. Its a solid project car of a model that is becoming very hard to come by. The parts alone are well worth the price I'm asking for the car. I was going to restore it but started a new job and now have no time for it. Starting the no reserve bidding at $850. It will be solid as is with no warranty. It has a PA title which is clear. Car must be paid for via PayPal or cashiers check within 3 days from the end of the auction. The car must be picked up within two weeks from the end of the auction. No international bidders please.
