This is a great example of an unmolested, California-built Pony car that has never left the state and has Zero rust issues. Matching numbers car with original dive-train and factory color combo. 200 1v I6 and 3-speed with wimbledon white exterior and blue crinkle vinyl interior. Car has been in storage most of its life and I was told by the previous owner the mileage is original to the car although the drive-train was rebuilt about 5 years ago and has less than 10k miles since the rebuild. Odometer reads 52,900 and judging by the car’s condition when I purchased it I believe it’s most likely correct. Car was repainted once about 8 years and does have some minor imperfections but as you can see in the picture it still shines very nice. Car has all original sheet metal and it has never been in an accident. Original quarters, fenders, and doors, everything lines up just as it should. Doors open and close fine with no sagging. Original rust free floor pans, front frame rails, trunk area, and torque boxes. All interior has been completely restored. Everything has been replaced including upholstery, carpet, dashboard, gauges, glove box, headliner, console and all chrome & misc trim. All exterior chrome trim and weatherstripping was also replaced including front & rear windshield trim, quarter windows, bumpers, handles, ect.. no pitting chrome on this pony, everything shines nicely. Original glass all around in excellent shape as well. All 4 windows roll up and down perfect. I recently went through the drivetrain and replaced a few gaskets and changed all the fluids as well as did a full tune up. When I removed the valve cover everything looked extremely clean. This mustang runs excellent and starts every time on first key turn. Has electronic ignition which helps on cold starts. Drives very nice on the highway and I wouldn’t hesitate driving it anywhere. Gets excellent gas mileage for a classic, about 25 highways and 16 city. Suspension is in excellent shape and car handles great at all speeds. Newer white wall tires (about 80%) and rebuilt drum brakes all around, car stops excellent. Has a $1,500 aftermarket AC system which blows ICE-COLD, great for you folks living out in the desert. New stereo system with CD changer in trunk (spent $600). All electrical works great including headlights, tail lights, blinkers, interior lights, gauges, wipers, ect.. Car even has an alarm with key remote. Box of invoices included with the car for most of the parts and restoration. I’ve got a clean CA title in hand with current registration ready to be transferred to the new owner.
