Drive a 40+ mpg car for free on filtered waste vegetable oil with a Greasecar system. This includes the tank, valves and co-pilot to automatically switch to WVO when you hit 150 deg. F. You are bidding/looking at a good used Passat TDI that needs some work but once it drives you can run on WVO essentially for free if you have a supply of filtered oil. Currently, I have been push starting or rolling down a hill to start and driving to work as it has an electrical issue with the clutch pedal sensor that will not allow the starter to turn over. If you have working knowledge of this car's electrical issues you can fix this problem. I will list the good points and bad: Good 1) New starter 2) New front CV joints. 3) New timing belt, pulleys and tensioners installed 10 k ago. 4) New glow plugs installed prior to last winter 5) Includes second set of of alloy rims for 6) Set of front fog lights and water pump included. Bad 1) Driver window taped up currently. Need either new motor or get back on track. 2) Heat and AC not blowing hard. 3) The sunroof is not opening properly but still vents fine. 4) Check engine light is on. If you win this auction you can either drive it home but just don't turn it off or be willing to push start it or trailer it home. I just bought a newer Passat and we have another car running on WVO so I have not gotten out of the grease business. I also replaced the engine breather tube and PVC valve about 3 months ago. The interior headline is pinned up currently. Please ask questions before you bid as I do not want a disappointed buyer expecting a perfect car. The 1.9L TDI engine is one of the best to run on WVO.
