Cool old school car hauler project. Chassis is a 1984 3500. Cab is a 1948. 19ft Hodges bed with Pierce winch. Really the only thing we have done is remove the original cab and set the 48 cab in it's place. It is just sitting on it. Mounts will need to be made. We had to cut some of the radiator support and a small amount of the frame to get it to fit. I have the complete 48 bumper that will need brackets made. The bed has surface rust but no rust-through as far as I can tell. It has some damage on the left side. I've had a couple of these beds and they are pretty cheap and simple to repair. The Pierce winch works fine. I have the sling and accessories where you can haul two cars. A bed like this today would cost about $9500. Cab needs some rust repair if you want to make it nice. I was really planning on leaving the patina the way it was, at least on the cab. Not sure of drivetrain condition. I was told there was something wrong with the motor. I was probably going to put a small block in it anyway. We removed the stock gas tanks, but I still have them. They were going to need to be relocated. Tires are fair. We removed the wheels and cleaned and painted them. I have the complete seat assembly for the 48. One of the right door hinges has been lost. I have both radiators, 1948 and 1984 4 row. 1984 cab will be included too. I have a clear title in my name to the 1984 truck. I do not have the title to the 48 cab. I have a 32 foot trailer that this truck will fit on . I would be willing to deliver up to 300 miles for expenses. If you have any questions please let me know.
