This rare, original, and beautiful Turbodiesel has had three owners, an IBM executive, a British Hollywood movie writer, and a Rocket Scientist. All living in Southern California so this car is absolutely rust free. It has service records included from all three owners. My 300CD is in excellent condition and looks and runs great. It is garaged and covered. It gets outstanding fuel economy of about 29 mpg. It can run on biodiesel or is a very popular choice of car for people who want to convert to run on SVO, veggie oil although it has not. Oil and filter has been changed regularly between 4000 and 5000 miles and car is regularly serviced. This classic European coupe of course has all the features found on such a top of the line German luxury car, such as automatic climate control and central door locks, cruise control, clock, tinted windshield, yellow fog lights, power windows, six way adjustable front bucket seats with real wood trim, and light alloy wheels. IT has five Michelin tires. The wheelbase is 3.3 inches shorter than the sedan making the car more nimble and light with a more sporty feel. The superb suspension soaks up bumps giving a fantastic ride. This low volume classic is sure to appreciate. While almost 3 million W123 sedans were manufactured from 1976 to 1985, only about 8000 300CD Turbodiesel coupes were made and less than 2000 in 1983.On Nov-10-12 at 17:15:52 PST, seller added the following information: Michelin tires are P195/70R14 Destiny with 3/16" if tread.
