I am the second owner of this bike and I have put on 194 miles. The original owner purchased this bike in Southern California and rode it very little. Because of the former owners back problems, it was not ridden for the past three years and was registered as, "Non-OP", for non operational. I have owned the bike since July of this year, it is original and has not been modified. Has heated grips and power outlet. It also comes with an extra set of BMW original low bars, a thicker padded highway seat, passenger seat replacement cover, all original BMW instruction books and a new Hayne's Service Manual. Tires are Metzler and near new. An honest assessment of the bike's condition is this: Mechanically perfect, runs perfect and ready to ride with no dings, dents or hidden problems. Since the bike had been parked for most of it's life, I had it completely serviced by a BMW mechanic who works at the local BMW dealer. He thoroughly inspected it, test rode it, changed and flushed all fluids and filters, and put in a new BMW starter and BMW battery. It is essentially a new bike and a sales associate at Long Beach BMW says that a comparable new bike would cost about $16,000.00. Why am I selling??? A month after I bought this bike, I bought a BMW 1200 GS model and the two are kind of a duplication. Storage space is an issue as is insurance on a bike I'm not riding. This is a great bike and the "Rockster" is a rare model, only made in '03 '04 and '05. I'm in the Los Angeles area close to San Pedro. Bike can be seen here, bought here, picked up here.
