This car was bought new at Saturn dealer in South Bay area, CA. The car was manufactured new by Saturn Corp. on Dec, 2001 and shipped to the South bay area dealer. The car has had 1 local owner since new, and with its low miles remains an exceptional example of the acclaimed SC series. Finished in Silver, the car presents very well. The paint finish is in impressive condition, glass smooth, with excellent depth and gloss. The body is excellent with few dings and chips, and of course no rust problems. Any where on the car. Tires are 80% plus. All 4 wheel are in excellent condition with minor scuffs or curb rash. All of the trim on the car looks like new. Black window trims are unmarked and look terrific All lights and lenses are very good and look like new. only minor imperfections. All of the car's glass is excellent, including the windshield. The trunk presents as new. The spare tire has never been on the ground, The tool kit and jack remains in its original place never used. The interior is likewise in excellent condition, dash is in very nice condition. the trims are all in terrific condition. Door panels are crisp and clean. The carpet is in fantastic condition, having been covered with floor mats (included) since new. The steering wheel reflects the car's low miles, those familiar with Saturn cars from this era will appreciate just how much texture is present on this wheel, as most become a lot smoother from use after the first 100K miles. All gauges work correctly and show good readings. All switches and controls are in like new condition, and all of them operate correctly. The climate control functions as it should, the AC blows cold. The car retains its original Saturn Sound System AM/FM radio CD with front and rear speakers. All windows work swiftly and smoothly. The headliner is unmarked and in super condition. All interior lighting works fine. For anyone that's driven a Saturn SC, this car will be a revelation. I've personally owned 3 of them over the years and am well accustomed to their, um, leisurely performance. This car actually bolts right off the line with assertive and snappy acceleration. Gearshifts are smooth and sure, the ride quality and suspension are tight and firm. There's no substitute for driving a low mile car, this is one I know you'll be very pleased with. The engine bay is all stock Saturn, As you can see, this engine bay is amazing. What you're looking at simply reflects 15K miles of operation. The undercarriage is rust free and original, even the exhaust. The Saturn SC seem to attract a fan base from a wide variety of backgrounds. Whether you used to own one, are planning to own one, or have memories from buying one new, the SC on offer here has got to be one of the best remaining examples extant. Car was involved in a minor accident, right side on front bumper cover, No real damage was done. I am sure most of you reading this have been in one. Still have original hood and fenders with vin#....Parts replaced left headlight and bumper cover. Prior damage Regarding the history of this car, We bought it from an Insurance Company. All repairs were done by a professional auto body. We personally test drive all of out cars to make sure everything is in working condition and that we will deliver a vehicle that is road ready and in need of nothing. This Saturn comes with a California salvage certificate. All safety inspection have been passed and it now ready to be registered. For buyers out side California Please note that We can also obtain a rebuilt title for this vehicle upon buyer's request. Registration process for a vehicle with a rebuilt title is identical to the one with a clean title. Nothing extra is required to register a vehicle with a rebuilt title . NO inspections are required with a rebuilt title. Cost for getting a rebuilt title is $250. This process will take up to 14 days and will be started only after full payment has been made. WHAT DOES REBUILT OR SALVAGE TITLE MEANS Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology: Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road. With rebuilt title, buyer can simply walk into the DMV and get the car registered without any repair documents or inspection work. About Payment: I will contact the winning bidder via email within 3 hours of auction completion. I would like a $1000 deposit (PayPal) within 24 Hs from the end of this auction.
