1951 Ford 2 door Club Coupe NO RESERVE. Traditional built kustom. Original show car built almost 35 years ago in 1978. Show sign included, painted with 15 coats of metallic blue, all chrome was redone at this time as well as the blue and white period correct diamond pleated upholstery. Original 239 flathead V8 and 3 speed transmission. Polished chrome Red’s headers, straight pipe dual exhaust, new Master Power dual master cylinder with power assist, all new steel lines. Lowered via Fat Man Fabrications kit with lowering blocks. All custom metal work recently done professionally by well known builder Blue Collar Customs of Sacramento. Work includes shaved door handles and exterior locks removed, hood has been nosed with center chrome strip removed and smoothed (complete new piece of metal welded in, not filled in), trunk is decked, antenna removed, V8 emblems removed, mirrors removed, gas door shaved with filler nozzle relocated inside trunk. All work done in metal, no filler. Pin striped dash, acrylic knobs, period correct dummy spotlights, low mile Firestone Deluxe Champion bias ply wide white walls (6.70 – 15), blue dot taillights. Many spare parts include original accessory visor, new in package chrome Mooneyes lake pipes (not pictured), Ford carburetor, etc. All original parts removed from the car are included as well. Car is traditionally built with history as a show car. It was originally purchased from Junker and Shull Ford dealership in Auburn, California. The car resides in Sacramento, 25 miles from where it was first purchased. It is a solid California car, a strong runner and smooth driver, has the great distinct sound of a Flathead with dual straight pipes. Car stops on a dime. Doors, trunk and hood all shut smooth and solid. The paint is showing its 35 year history in many spots with various chips, all locations have been touched up. It is not a show car but a solid, period correct traditionally built mild kustom with history. Car club plaque not included in the sale. 1951 California plates only go with the vehicle if sold and registered in California. Please ask any and all questions before bidding.
