This is by far one of the cleanest, most original and most well maintained examples of a 1988 E24 M6 you will find anywhere. I am a BMW enthusiast and a member of the BMWCCA Windy City Chapter. I have decided to thin out my collection of M cars to make space for some new interest. Here I have listed my beautiful 1988 BMW E24 M6 for sale. The car is all original. Never been in a wreck, lived in the dry south for most of its life and has never seen any inclement weather while in my possession as the second owner. The car has always been stored in a climate controlled garage. The M6 has been impeccably maintained with all major services performed ahead of time including several major parts replaced as needed; clutch, brake cylinder, brakes, water pump, thermostat, steering gear box etc. Note: the car is being driven so the mileage will be slightly different at the time of sale. I encourage anyone who is interested in purchasing the car to personally inspect, or have someone you trust inspect the vehicle. You will not be disappointed. I am posting it here since a few of you have asked similar questions. This way it benefits everyone.This is a turn-key car. I am the second owner. The original owner kept the car in south all its life.I have never driven this car in rain or snow. It goes into climate controlled storage during the winter months.It has always been garaged. These wheels were offered as an upgrade by BMW in lieu of the metric size TRX wheels and tires.The car will also come with the original and complete set of OEM BBS Metic mesh wheels and original TRX tires if the buyer wants these. I have used these for show purposes only. The tires are in good condition but please remember these were 1980's technology so it made sense to get more modern tires for the car.This M6 absolutely does not need anything serviced or fixed.
