HERE IS ANOTHER CAR FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. THIS ONE IS A BEAUTIFUL 1987 CHEVROLET K-1500 SILVERADO SHORT BED 2WD FLARESIDE PICKUP THAT IS ABSOLUTELY TURN-KEY READY TO CRUISE ANYWHERE! LOADED WITH EVERY OPTION! Please e-mail me with questions or to set up an inspection to see the car in person. Vehicle came out of North Carolina. I bought it a body shop owner that used it as his personal work truck for a few years and in the last couple of years decided to redo it in his spare time. It has NEW PAINT, NEW INTERIOR, NEW CHROME, NEW BRAKES, NEW SUSPENSION, etc. etc. etc. A ton of money was invested in this truck OPTIONS: Power steering Power DISC brakes Power door locks Power windows Air conditioning Tilt steering wheel Cruise control Short bed/wheelbase Truck rally wheels with Cooper Cobra T/A radials Dual exhaust (upgraded with Flowmaster mufflers) Mechanically it fires right up and sounds great along with the nice FLOWMASTER exhaust system. Transmission is solid and shifts good through all the gears without any noises or grinding. Now as for driving the car, i've taken it out mostly around the neighborhood here and there for a few functions, every once in a while I take it to a local cruise night. You can cruise with it on the highway all day and I would trust it to drive anywhere at the drop of a hat. Interior is NEW for the most part. NEWLY reupholstered bench seat (with NEW foam), NEW carpet, NEW dash pad cap, NEW paint on lower dash, good door panels and headliner. Overall beautifully presentable. Underside is very clean throughout with SOLID frame. Floorboards have NO RUST that I could see. The bed is EXCELLENT with NO holes and very clean underneath it as well. Not much more you can ask for from a truck. The old girl is NOT perfect by any means of course so please keep that in mind when bidding. Paint is in good shape and cleans up very nice, but does have a couple of chips here and there from driving and gentle use, also the hood could use minor alignment. Not working: odometer/speedo (needs new cable), air conditioning works but has a small hole in one of the aluminum lines, door locks need new switches. Could use a wheel alignment, as it steers to the right when driving. Underside has some minor overspray here and there on the frame that should be an easy fix. So overall she is not perfect and will need some form of TLC depending on how nice you want it to be and what you plan to do with the car. Please note, I cannot remember every single issue with the car, nor do I know everything wrong with it, as it is after all over 25 years old so keep that in mind. If you just want a GREAT LOOKING RUST-FREE DRIVER needing tlc, this is the car for you. If you want a show car, it will need some considerable investment or total restoration to bring it up to that level of course.
