Vehicle Detail

1967 Firebird 400 Convertible. Power brakes, steering, and windows. Cruise control, AC, fold down rear seat, tilt wheel, disc brakes, Safe-t-track rear axle, hydra-matic transmission. Originally had the custom interior(black), though it now has the standard interior. Currently has a newer black top, but was originally cream. Currently Red exterior, but was originally Coronado Gold(Spring only color-rare). As you can see, this is a highly optioned car, pretty rare to find one with this set of options, only thing it is missing is the hood tach. The car is in really good driver condition, I had the engine rebuilt less than two years ago along with a new aluminum radiator, I've probably put 500 miles on it since then. The paint is a 10 footer, interior is good, but missing the radio, top is in good condition. The only things that need to be done to this car are weatherstripping, and the rear windows don't sit in their tracks properly(you need to help them up while pressing the window buttons). All of the window motors work, but they are also very slow, I have two new window motors in the box, just need them installed. The A/C is not currently hooked up, I do have, what I believe to be, the original compressor. This car runs and drives great, it is a lot of fun, it drives smooth and straight, shifts perfectly, and the rebuilt engine hauls. It is not a show car, but the beauty of it is that you can drive it and have tons of fun with it, and if you ever want to turn it into a show car, you can. With all of the options it has, it would make an incredible show car. True mileage is unknown. I have owned the car for two years, the following are things that I was told(by the previous owner) were done or has but can not say with certainty: Rebuilt Tranny Factory traction bar New brakes, rotors, brake booster, and brake lines New suspension(tie rods, bushings, shocks New exhaust with flowmaster mufflers attached to original exhaus manifolds(sounds awesome) New gas tank, fuel sender, and fuel lines Hi-Torque starter Happy bidding! Video Link: http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f220/cgsihler/Firebird/?action=view¤t=DSCN9627.mp4 Photobucket It has been brought to my attention that the car does not have the Pontiac emblem on the front bumper, nor does it have the 400 grill. The front and rear bumpers have both been replaced, the emblem has not been attached to the new bumper, the grills have also been replaced, I do not know why they were not replaced with the correct 400 grills. All options on the car can be verified with PHS with the vin number and this has been done, I do have the paperwork to verify this. This is a true 400 car, and as far as I know, the engine and drivetrain are original. Like it says in the listing, this is not a restored show car, prior owners have made changes to this car that are not factory correct; the interior is supposed to be deluxe, but it was replaced with standard, the top is supposed to be cream, but it is black, and the spoiler was not an option on the 1967 Firebird. I am sure there are other things that are not correct as well, this is a very good condition car, but it is not a show car.
