Beautiful Nighthawk with only 10,600 miles All fluids changed, new battery, new Bridgestone tires, new air filter It does have a "tap/noise" on cold start ups or high RPM after being warmed up, but not all the time. Engine sounds fine if not under a heavy load. Could be sticky valves(lifters), cam chain, or anything, but don't know what it is for sure. Goes through all gears as it should It does have an oil leak on the left side of the engine(transmission side gear case cover), but should be an easy fix with a gasket. The steering is tight and smooth except there is a slight stop/notch?? in the steering when the bars are straight, never been a problem just thought it was worth mentioning, it just makes it easy to ride with no hands because it stays straight. The more it's used the less it seems to have this issue. Bike does need work in the already mentioned areas, but is rideable.
