Very Nice 1965 21 Window Deluxe Microbus (Samba)This Microbus has an interesting history: Originally imported to Alaska back in 1965 then 5 years later the original owner traveled it to Texas where it spent most of it's life.I purchased the bus 6 years ago. They are almost impossible to find in this condition and not restored. Always draws a crowd at local car shows. Runs smooth & is a joy to drive!Great Patina. This is not a restored Micobus but is Amazingly Rust-Free! Sealing-Wax Red (L53) paint shows nice & the Beige Grey (L472) paint is 100% original and shows very nice with original window rubber & original center & front rubber floor mats.All interior panels are original Deluxe Mesh Grey (83) that look amazing for their age. Back & middle seats are from a bay window that look and feel nice.One of the windshields has a crack but included in the sale is a set of New Izz's Safari Window Kits still in the box (Hand polished stainless steel).Original 6 volt electrical system was updated to a more modern 12 volt system with alternator . All the 6 volt parts before upgrade are included in sale. No disappointments with this one. It's not a $125,000.00 restored 21 Window Bus (as of now) but is a very nice, clean original non-restored survivor . Low Reserve. Great Investment with prices climbing everyday!
