This is a exceptionally clean 1965 Mustang Coupe. (Rust Free Southern Car)This is suppposed to be a true GT early model first run which did not have the front disc brakes. I have not been able to confirm this other than wires, etc in the engine compartment that may lead that thought as well.It has been stripped 90% to the bare metal, repaired the dents and dings with body hammers and dollies and very little filler. there where aproximatly 5 -7 spots on the car that where worked with no major areas. It has been primed and blocked the car no less than 6 times as is evident in the pictures and as you look down the sides of this car. After setting for 6 weeks it was then applied with the Range Rover Boreggo yellow paint in a base coat clear coat.The engine is an 1990 ford 5.0 out of a lincoln. It is completly new all the way through with a very mild cam for drivability and has 3000 miles on it since it was installed. The mechanical fan has been replaced with an electric one in its place.It has the very reliable c4 transmission, which has been freshened up. Rear end is very solid with new brakes and shocks.All electrical wiring has been checked out and everything made to work as it should by professionals.The interior has been up fitted with new upholstry including new foam backing, new carpet, and door panels. The headliner is in good condition. The American Racing wheels and tires are brand new, 17x7 front and 17x8 rear.The car runs and drives great . you will not be disapointed in it whene you see it .
