Offered for Sale is a VERY RARE 1992 BMW 325i M-Technic Package Convertible with just 44,000 original miles. In absolutely PERFECT condition for it's year and age. 100% West Coast car only (CA & WA), 100% rust free. This is an opportunity to acquire an EXCEPTIONAL BMW Convertible; and a rare M-Technic Package Convertible at that! They only made approximately 140 to 250 of these 325ic M-Technic Appearance Packge Automatic Convertibles from 07/1991 to 06/1992; registered as the 1992 Model Year for the U.S. Market. BMW does not have the precise number actually produced. The M-Technic Appearance Package added $ 1,600.00 to the original price; making it a 'Top of the Line' and rare Convertible. Total Production of 325ic's Automatics for the 1992 model year were 3,020. They were incredibly expensive new, and are seldom seen today. It was the last model year of the E30. This particular example was built in 07/1991. This model was know as the "Alpine Edition." Finished in "AlpinWeiss2" with" LotosWeiss" Interior while sporting a black canvas top, basketweave wheels, and M-Technic Appearance Package Exterior Trim. This model was only offered in just 2 colors for 1992. This car is loaded, featuring not only the "M-Technic" Appearance Package, but the full Power Package as well. It even sports its original BMW floor mats! Everything on the BMW is fully functional and everything works as it should, right down to the icy cold Air Conditioning. There is nothing that this PRIME example of "The Ultimate Driving Machine" requires; just a new and ENTHUSIASTIC owner! Maintenance: Completed at 29,950 Miles were all 4 New Tires, Timing Belt, Tensioner Pulley, Power Antenna, Rear Brakes, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Spark Plugs, Wires, Rotor & Cap, Etc. Completed at 43,800 miles was a new Power Steering Pump and a Tune Up. Interior: It is in absolutely perfect condition. Down to the Original BMW Stereo with Factory Alarm System, Power Windows, Locks, Cruise Control, and On Board Computer. When was the last time you saw an E30 with a perfect dash with no cracks AND the original factory sticker from BMW on still on the windshield? During my ownership this extraordinary car has had a complete new interior professionally crafted, using only the finest materials, with suede inserts and correct M-Package BMW 2 Colored Stitching. I should mention this was done at GREAT expense by a top interior shop here in Seattle. The original interior was replaced not because of wear; the car had been in storage in Southern California for many years and the leather had become dry and hard. It had actually shrunk and the stitching was coming apart. I have photos of the original interior showing that it looked good...with no significant wear....the leather had just become too dry to be worthy of such a great car. The interior is now FAR superior to anything that would have come out of the factory. Body: The exterior is as nice as it gets for its age, appearing virtually dent & ding free (none that I can see on the body). Passenger side chrome window molding has a small dent, but that trim is easily replaced. That is being picky I think, but at least one knows. The paint is beautiful and shines with a mirror like gloss. The black canvas top is original and in perfect shape as well. The top is manual and was converted from power by the local BMW service shop when I was told the power top system was no good and the new motor required would be over $ 2,000. So I opted to have them convert it to the manual system that the Euro versions had; as well as the US Market 318ic's and non-power top optioned versions of the 325ic's. It is real easy to operate and MUCH better than the Power System that was typically replaced numerous times under warranty. The complete exterior was repainted 2 years ago after a Detail Shop buffed through a lot of the edges on the paint. Their insurance paid for an original quality paint job using the same type of paint. Also features European H-4 Headlights. It looks stunning! Please contact me for a personal showing.
