This is a 1971 Jeepter Commando, Buick V6, TH400 automatic, power steering and power brakes. will need to be gone over before putting on road. This is the most sought after year commando. The previous owner had patched the cowel for some reason, I do not know what happend. I bought this to restore sometime in the future. It is a great start for a Commando. I just have too many jeeps and need to reduce my projects. The jeep tat for 2 years before I got it. I got it runnning and the engine sounds real strong. Has glas packs exhaust so it's a bit loud. I have it running using a spare can, I did not trust the fuel tank. I think it's just fine but cant be sure. Brake pedal goes to floor and the floor boards are soft and will need patched. The jeep will need to be trailered as it is not drivable in present condition. Floors are soft and could use a better paint job. It has a red drivers side door due to my stupidity. did not have it all the way closed when backing out of the garage. I have a spare top I will include, as well as a spare wiring harness for the engine. sometimes the key will not start the engine and I need to use the remote started. a push button starter would be the easiest fix. I have 5 original hub caps as well. There are 2 boxes of spare parts in the back of the commando. new door handles, emblems, lights etc... I have a ton of spare parts I can include at extra cost. can work out after the sale if interested.
