This no reserve auction is for a 1931 Ford Roadster. This was a project car me and my father were doing together. Unfortunately he passed away on August 24 of this year. I am selling it because I am trying to finish his 36 ford 3 window he was building at the same time we were doing this car. I don’t have the room or money to do both cars. This is a brand new bare metal Brookville 31 Roadster body. I ordered it on February 21, 2012 and picked it up at the LA Roadster Show in June on Fathers Day from Brookville. This body is not the stock Brookville 31. The stock body is $6500 this one was $8600 and I have the invoice that will go with the car. This body was ordered with a smooth cowl cover that replaces the original gas tank, smooth doors with stock hinges, flat hot rod style floor used with custom or glide seat, steel front floor, smooth rumble without any holes, deck former rolled and formed area around the top of the quarter panels and above the deck lid panel to create a smooth look, 4 inch recessed firewall, rear rolled pan without lights, rear rolled pan extension that finishes off underneath the car and goes from rear roll pan to last rear cross member. The frame is a new TCI frame painted black with the Chrome and Stainless package, new 9 inch ford rear end, Vega steering box, 4 bar, rear drum, front disc brakes all stainless and steel braided brake lines. The motor is a 350 chevy, 350 Turbo transmission with a new Edelbrock Dura Shine 600 CFM Carb and Elite Series Air Cleaner with K&N Filter and Elite Series Valve Covers, Holly polished aluminum manifold, billet starter, chrome exhaust manifolds, American Racing 15 inch wheels with new Dunlop tires. New Sacramento Vintage Ford Windshield Frame and posts, lower posts are 32 Ford (plans were to modify the cowl for them), New Aluminum Radiator. What you see in the pictures is everything I have for the car. I have the 1930 Ford pink slip and paperwork that came with the car when we got it. When we got the car the frame was done and the body was a twisted beat up mess. That’s when we ordered the Brookville body. If your looking for a car you can make your own and finish it the way you want and not buy someone else’s car or if your worried about what’s under the paint or bondo or rust or old damage this may be the car for you. Still needs a little adjusting. The Brookville body came with hardwood mounting blocks as you can see in the pictures. My dad and a friend of his set the body used the blocks and bolted it down to start to fit and adjust everything. Right after that he passed and the car hasn't been touched.
