Vehicle Detail
I have owned this vehicle for about 3 years. I drove it for 2 years. It has been parked for roughly a year due to what i believe was a blown head gasket (white smoke from tailpipe and a wetness under the driverside head). It needs head gasket, spark plugs, pulley belts, and taillight housings (housings are cracked and missing pieces). With the exception of the wheels, it is all original down to the bottle jack mounted on the inner passenger side fender. This is a stepside bed and are fairly hard to find. It took me 10 years to find a flareside in this good of shape. The wheels are old Aurora style. It is numbers matching 302 small block with factory ac. The compressor was tooken off before i got it so i assume its no good. I disconnected all ac and heat hookups/equipment to replace with new parts (i do not have new parts for these items but i do have the old parts for core charges). When i parked it i planned to rebuild it using my 351W so i disconnected the manifolds, entire pulley/accessories area, and all wires/hoses (tape and marker was used to label each for reassembly). All original parts come with it. There is a dent in driver side front fender. There a holes in both cab floors. There is a hole in the front bed floor rail. The bed floor was originally wood. The wood rotted a long time ago and i had a piece of plywood on top of the rotted wood and rusty runners. I removed the wood and found the bolts that hold the runners/wood were rusted solid. I planned to remove the runners to weld a solid metal floor. The seat has tears and i stripped the dash pad to began reupholstery. Parts are there just dissconnected/dissassembled for a rebuild. Moneys tight so my toy has to go. All light bulbs to include the dome lights, dash lights, taillights, headlights, etc. were bought new by me when i got the truck. I have a brand new in box air filter, plug wires, and wipers. With maybe $300-400 this truck will be back on the road. Put a little more time and money and this truck will look like it did off the assembly line. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING PRICES AND DETAILS. THIS TRUCK IS INOPERABLE RIGHT NOW AND WILL HAVE TO BE TOWED. I will recommend Able Auto Transport, i have used them in the past and they are very good.
