This is a 1960 chevy impala 2 door hardtop Engine is a 283 V8 with 2 barell carberator and automatic powerglide trans. This car also has dealer installed aircondition and power steering. This car has been in storage for over 20 years, the mileage when i bought the car was only 30 k witch i beleive to be original and now has just over 45k on it . here is a list of parts that i have put on the car : - new fuel tank with sending unit - fuel lines - brakes and brake lines - new fuel pump - water pump - voltage regulator - radiator checked - washer tank for wipers - plugs, points,cap and button - thermostat - carburetor rebuilt - brake switch - nuetural switch - hoses and belts Mechanicaly this car is sound, you can drive it anywhere and now worry . I have also bought some new chrome for the car such as the trunk emblem and v , duel antannes, outside mirrors, fender trim, quarter flags,hood letters,and other little stuff like door handle shields and moons for the headlights. This impala presents itself very well and turns heads everywhere it goes . However, this is not a perfect car, the original interior is faded and showing wear, headliner is coming apart at the seams, and the carpet is showing wear and is faded. The car needs new paint and some miner body work , their a a few dings and blimmishes, the chrome and some of the trim is showing its age but still is nice . The floors and trunk are very nice and solid, all glass is good and roll up and down easily. Over all this is a very nice cruising car that can be taken out on the weekends and enjoy and with a new paint job ,some new interior , and some detailing this would make a great show car .
