Hello everybody, here’s another fine example of the ultimate camp mobile. This is a rare Automatic Westfalia which is the Champagne Edition Deluxe model. This is a one year only special bus that has some unique features like chrome bumpers,clock, brown dash and interior panels. It includes a built-in propane stove, sink with electric pump and water reservoir, with electric refrigerator. It has room “upstairs” for sleeping two adults, and a fold-out bench seat that sleeps two more. Talk about comfy cozy! This van was painted the original Agate Brown and Pastel White two tone and had no rust or major repair prior to being painted. As a matter of fact, this is as straight and original bus as I've seen in a long time. Just check out how beautiful and clean the front floor is. The interior is also the original retro plaid and looks just too cool. The front seats have been professionally reupholstered with new padding for great comfort. It has a new three window pop-top that looks fantastic! I just returned from taking this wonderful bus for a drive and stopped off for a bite to eat. It was amazing, just having it parked in the parking lot you'd have thought Mick Jagger dropped by. Everyone there was absolutely taken by it. A friend of mine described it as the bus was a rock star and I was the roadie....Pretty darn cool if I say so myself. Mechanically this bus runs like dream, The engine was rebuilt by a highly reputable machine shop within the last 6,500 miles. I do have the paperwork which I will include with the bus along with all the other records I received. The Automatic transmission shifts smooth and is a pleasure to drive. The front end is tight and steers straight down the road. The brakes are like new feel great with no pulling. All the electrical is in working order including; headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, and fuel gauge. One key works in the ignition and all the doors which is very rare these days. This bus is a blast to drive and looks great rolling down the highway or cruising around town. You’ll enjoy many quite hours getting back to nature, driving through the countryside, or listening to waves break on a near by beach.
