Up for sale is my 1953 Chevy street rod. I have owned this truck since 2000, performed a complete restoration which was finished in 2006. The truck is a combination of street and strip. Although I never took it to the track, only a handful of car shows and back and forth to work. The truck was always garage kept and any and all rust was removed during the restoration. The frame is original up until the back of the cab and that is were the frame rails were narrowed and resupported. The process was a complete frame off restoration. The engine and transmission crossmembers are aftermarket alone with the entire drivetrain. The engine is 11.8 to 1. The block is a original 402 with TRW dome pistons. The block and heads were completed by a machine shop in allentown, pa in 2005. The intake is a Edelbrock Tunnel ram, the carbs are dual Holley Ultra HP 650's. The ignition system is MSD. The valvetrain is all hydraulic roller setup. No mess and no fuss. Turn on the fuel, hit the ignition switch and starter and she fires right up. There is a block heater for cold weather warm up. The tires are Mickey Thompson ET street with 95% tread. The interior has Kirkey racing seats 18 inch. The floor is carpeted. There is so much to list. Six years of replacing parts.
